Reflection Seminar in Porto
From 5th to 7th November 2025, the entire Landlabs research team met in Porto.
The University of Porto organised the three-day seminar, providing a great location in the library for discussions and presentations, as well as a diverse programme featuring site visits and contributions from external experts.

Day 1
On Wednesday, the Landlabs team welcomed experts from five of the six disciplines: Inês Afonso Lopes (aesthetics), Virgílio Borges Pereira (sociology), Alexandre Lima (geology), João Honrado (ecology) and Paulo Castro Seixas (anthropology). Each doctoral candidate presented their current work on the link between a particular theory and their landscape laboratory site. This included their research objectives and questions, followed by feedback from the experts and the rest of the group.
