What is more?

We are very pleased that our workshop ‚What is more? Exploring Design Strategies and Methods based on Theories of Interconnectedness between Humans and Non-Humans‘ received such a high level of interest at the ECLAS Conference 2026: Take Care – Planetary Landscape Architecture.

If landscape architecture must be more than the design of space, then what else does this ‘more’ entail? The aim of this workshop was to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to address the question: “how can interconnectedness between humans and non-humans lead to design strategies in landscape architecture which include more-than-human practices of care”?
